I am still surprised that there still are hotels whose owners seem to refuse to see their business from the customer's perspective. Some designs are just so weird they are uncomfortable. Some have no design at all - which is not necessarily a minus. However, more than everything a customer wants to feel cozy, to have some sort of home-coming feeling. If you enter a house where you realize in one minutes that the owners don't even bother making it look nicely, lovely and welcoming, what's the point in having a hotel? It does not always cost money to make something out of nothing, but it certainly takes passion and love. If you don't love what you are doing, stop doing it.
